About my photos

Although I use a digital workflow, my images are not post-manipulated to create their dreamy aesthetic. What you see is what I capture at the time of exposure – apart from some minor spotting.

I have been working as a lens-based artist since the late 80’s when I trained as a photographer. Since then my work has also incorporated video and installation.

Curriculum vitae

My work has been exhibited extensively in public galleries and artist-run-spaces in Australia. I have received numerous awards and been a finalist in many prestigious prizes.

Take a closer look

The detail, scale and lushness of my images is so much richer in real life. Most of my images are printed on metallic chromogenic paper which resembles the depth and seductiveness of Cibachrome – a positive to positive process.

Acknowledgement
